Our Story

From Industry Need to Safety Excellence

SCAL Academy was established in 2009 by the Singapore Contractors Association (SCAL) to address the critical gap between regulatory safety requirements and practical on-site implementation.

What began as a modest training initiative has evolved into Singapore's most trusted WSQ safety training institution. We recognized that construction professionals needed more than classroom lectures—they needed hands-on experience with real equipment, delivered by instructors who had actually worked in the field.

Today, we train over 5,000 professionals annually across our two dedicated training centers, maintaining the highest standards of accreditation while keeping our curriculum current with evolving MOM regulations.

Foundation Established

SCAL Academy founded by Singapore Contractors Association to serve member companies' training needs.
